Job Description
Safety Engineer &- Construction (Confidential Client)
I’m working with a growing construction company that’s looking to bring on a Safety Engineer to support safety across multiple active projects. This person will work closely with field teams and leadership to keep jobsites compliant, reduce risk, and continue building a strong safety culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing safety programs and ensuring OSHA/environmental compliance
- Visiting jobsites, running audits/inspections, and addressing hazards
- Leading incident investigations and tracking corrective actions
- Managing safety documentation, OSHA logs, and reporting
- Supporting PMs/supers with day-to-day safety needs
- Running orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training
- Monitoring subs and making sure site safety plans are followed
- Tracking safety metrics and helping improve overall performance
What they’re looking for:
- 2 years in construction safety (commercial is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of OSHA and general safety regs
- Comfortable being in the field and working across multiple sites
- Strong communicator who can work with both field teams and leadership
- OSHA 30 required; CSP/CHST a plus
