Job Description

Safety Engineer &- Construction (Confidential Client)
I’m working with a growing construction company that’s looking to bring on a Safety Engineer to support safety across multiple active projects. This person will work closely with field teams and leadership to keep jobsites compliant, reduce risk, and continue building a strong safety culture.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing safety programs and ensuring OSHA/environmental compliance
  • Visiting jobsites, running audits/inspections, and addressing hazards
  • Leading incident investigations and tracking corrective actions
  • Managing safety documentation, OSHA logs, and reporting
  • Supporting PMs/supers with day-to-day safety needs
  • Running orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training
  • Monitoring subs and making sure site safety plans are followed
  • Tracking safety metrics and helping improve overall performance

What they’re looking for:

  • 2 years in construction safety (commercial is a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA and general safety regs
  • Comfortable being in the field and working across multiple sites
  • Strong communicator who can work with both field teams and leadership
  • OSHA 30 required; CSP/CHST a plus
