ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answers phone inquiries, direct calls, and provides basic departmental information; oversees mail deliveries, packages, and couriers.
- Performs clerical duties, takes memos, maintains files, and organizes documents; photocopy, fax, etc. ...
- Assists in preparing information and research materials; creates and maintains documents.
- Assists with visits and/or arranging meetings.
- Completes mandatory employee health, workers compensation, HR processes and other training and requirements in required time frame to ensure compliance with all FPI rules and regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills.
- Knowledge of general customer service practices.
- Ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with team members and public.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Total Rewards
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
