Mechanical Project Manager &- Commercial General Contractor

Baltimore, MD

A leading Commercial General Contractor in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects. This Mechanical Project Manager role requires strong HVAC, MEP coordination, and commissioning experience.

The Mechanical Project Manager will manage mechanical systems from preconstruction through commissioning and project turnover while coordinating with subcontractors, field teams, owners, and design teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical scopes on commercial projects
  • Lead MEP coordination and oversee subcontractors
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, and change orders
  • Ensure successful commissioning and startup of mechanical systems
  • Support QA/QC and project closeout efforts
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
  • Commercial construction experience with a General Contractor or Mechanical Contractor
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, and commissioning
  • Experience on large commercial, healthcare, life sciences, or institutional projects preferred
